Application possibilities

Noise and distractions are all around us. It is incumbent on architects and construction companies to design and build spaces with appropriate noise control measures that provide quality of life for those living, working or gathering.

We offer rebond foam acoustic wall panels as a solution for the building and construction industry. Polyurethane foam panels help reduce airborne noise transmission from room to room or in common living and working areas. The acoustic wall panels can be used in the construction of homes; apartment or office complexes; public and industrial buildings; concert or event halls; or hotels, with many other applications.

Either on its own or in conjunction with other materials, rebond foam can be placed between two interior walls, metal studs or lowered ceilings, being installed or attached to gypsum, OSB boards or dry screed boards, to:

  • Absorb low frequency and airborne sounds
  • Serve as thermal insulation material
  • Provide cavity filling of lightweight frame constructions

Key benefits

  • Superior acoustical insulation for low frequency & airborne sounds
  • Thermal insulation benefits to help save energy
  • Lightweight solution to function on its own or be integrated
  • Made from 100% recycled material for greater sustainable construction

How to

  1. Install

    • The wall panels can be placed loosely, closely fitted between the walls, so the entire cavity is taken up by the panels.
    • In other constructions, attach the panels with stripes or dots of silicone or glue to the surface. The material is compatible with most types of glue, yet a pre-adhesive test is recommended.
    • Avoid mechanical fasteners and connections drilling holes through the acoustic panels.
    • The rebond foam wall panels are processed in dry condition to protect the material from moisture during transport and at the construction yard.
